Four years might not seem like a very long time, but in the world of LED displays it can feel like decades. America has a screen addiction, and it doesn’t matter if the screen is 4.7 inches, 70 inches or 180 inches; one thing is clear, we like our screens and we like them high resolution. Visual Impact Productions realized this simple fact over 10 years ago, and has since been doing everything in its power to see that their clients get the largest, highest resolution LED display for their marketing dollar. Apparently, LED screens are becoming better and better every year, with screen resolution getting higher and higher.

What’s an LED Screen & What’s Pixel Pitch?

An LED screen (also referred to as a Jumbotron) is a screen that uses light emitting diodes in order to form an image. They are most popular with outdoor, daytime events that have too much ambient light for regular TVs or projection. To determine the resolution of an LED screen, a measurement known as “pixel pitch” is used which denotes the distance from the center of one pixel to the center of the pixel next to it. The smaller the pixel pitch—typically in millimeters—the higher the resolution the screen.

In the past 10 years we’ve gone from 30mm pixel pitches, to 20, then 16, then 12, 10, 8, 6 and finally brands just started introducing outdoor 5mm LED screen panels. What this means is that outdoor LED screens now have much higher resolutions than in year’s past. The screens have also become much more affordable, which means more rental houses are purchasing them, meaning more competition which means lower prices to the end user. This is exciting, as it means we will be seeing more and more of these screens at outdoor events.

It isn’t hard to imagine why these Jumbotron rentals are so popular with events. They allow sponsors and advertisers to capture the attention of event goers like never before. With the advent of DVRs, it is a whole lot tougher to get an audience to watch your commercial spots, but with Jumbotrons, it is rather easy, as you have a captive audience that really has no choice as to whether they watch your content or not.

LED displays will continue to rise in popularity as their price drops and resolutions are sharpened. Who knows, maybe in another ten years we will have them everywhere billboards used to be.

Trump Isn’t Just Attracting Uneducated Pissed Off White Guys

Donald Trump has been long long believed to be the champion of your uneducated white guy. GOP polls are beginning to show him as a threat, as he is currently the Republican poll leader. Now, to be honest, he certainly does seem to hold sway over your typical blue collar male conservative. However, he has been recently shown movement in pro-choice white collar Republicans and independents. He is even starting to make progress with Democrats that are getting tired of illegal immigration.

Those that haven’t been ardent Trump followers are beginning to see that his appeal is proliferating, and his influence and popularity is no longer reserved to those anti-establishment bible reading types. Maybe it is his ability to say exactly what’s on his mind, without having to conduct polls before making a statement. For some, it is refreshing to see a candidate that doesn’t seem to obsess about polls, or what people think of him. You won’t find Trump with a wet finger in the air, as he doesn’t care which way the wind is blowing; he is his own man with his own ideas about how this country should be run, popular opinion be damned.

And although Trump doesn’t have as much support from educated guys and gals, he is still near the precipice as compared to all of the other candidates in the GOP field. When you take a second to really be honest with yourself, after reading all of the polling data, it is hard to deny that this man could have a chance to fill the big seat in Washington DC come November.

Florida Will Heat Up As We Near November

Trump and fellow candidates haven’t been beating up the sidewalks in Florida just yet, however the closer we get to November, the more we’ll start seeing candidates visit this swing state. Along with the candidates, event companies are sure to see an increase in business.

We spoke with a local company, Find Me A Tent, who offers Orlando tent rentals and Miami tent rentals. “Campaign season comes along once every four years, and always provides us a ton of business” commented the owner of Find Me A Tent, which offers tent rentals to events nationwide. Apparently the whole event industry sees a huge boon during campaign season, which makes sense as these campaigns spend millions of dollars traveling around the US and getting their message out there.

Don’t Count Him Out Yet, Folks

Over the past year you’ve seen a lot of people say it couldn’t be done. But the more time goes by, the more it seems that Mr. Trump just might have a chance. I wouldn’t bet all my money on it, but it’s safe to say he isn’t going anywhere for the time being, and will very likely cause a stir come November.

Ethical decision making can be used by businesses to secure their businesses through making decisions that minimize the involvement of government agencies with the corporation. For example a company that follows the guidelines of United States Environmental Agency regarding emission of harmful pollutants and also gets involved in addressing the public’s concern would easily avoid investigation from the EPA.

Individual social responsibility can be used to achieve corporate social responsibility. As a matter of fact, individual social responsibility is the foundation to corporate social responsibility. This is because a corporate is made of individuals. It is stated by the International Organization for Standard that with the increase in globalization, we are becoming more conscious of what we buy in relation to the process of production, child labor, environmentally harmful products, dangers in working environment are among the issues being addressed. Most if not all organizations are beginning to realize the need to act in consideration to the norms of what is right and what is wrong.

Student social responsibility is whereby every student has to be responsible for their actions. Many young people are attracted into this field as a way of participating in national building. It is an avenue where your opinions are taken seriously and mostly considered in directing governance. The main challenge for any young person is how to get into politics in the first place. past leaders have been shown to have carved their way into politics through early community participation. It shows clearly that if you start from the small community that you come from you can eventually get into the main political mainstream.

The first step therefore is to recognize your potential. If you are able to to speak to your peers eloquently and convincingly, then you can be a leader. At this point, it is good to seek a leadership position within the group that you are involved in. As time goes by, people will start associating you with leadership. They will start asking for your opinions in crucial matters affecting them. The next step is mobilizing people outside your group. When the larger community start recognizing you and associating you with certain activities, be they community cleanup or capacity building among various groups, they will start agitating for your representation.

At this point it is neccessay to start associating with local leaders and involving them in your community activities. Let it be known that you are the best contact for any leader needing to mobilize your community. These leaders need to be mostly political leaders. Sometimes you will need to challenge these leaders in their words and in their deeds. When you start becoming controversial you may be asked by your community for representation. Wheress for many people this becomes an opportunity to grab, its my take that you resist these temptations at this juncture.

Look at the most popular political leader in your community and start supporting him in his works. Start confiding in him you desire to get into elective politics. Since politicians have rivarly, they will always point you to a particular post that may be held by his rival. It is here that you let your intentions known to the wider community. With a senior politician supporting you and having carved your own identity, you will have dived right into the political mainstream. Although you may fail in your first attempt, it is my advice that you try the second time which in most cases results in success.
